Abstract
Disclosed is a method for preventing, delaying or reversing age-associated inflammation, by administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of at least one reverse transcriptase inhibitor (RTI).

A method for treating Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, autism spectrum disorder, dementia with Lewy Bodies, frontotemporal dementia, mild cognitive impairment, Parkinson's disease, progressive supra nuclear palsy, Rett Syndrome, or Aicardi-Goutieres syndrome in a patient in need thereof, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of censavudine.
