Claims15
A compound for use in the treatment of facial pain in a subject, wherein the compound is 2-(3-(3-(2,4-dimethoxypyrimidin-5-yl)phenyl)-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-6-yl)propan-2-ol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
The compound for use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the facial pain is trigeminal neuralgia (TN).
The compound for use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the subject is administered a dose in the range of 0.001-100 mg/kg perorally.
A compound for use in the treatment of postoperative pain in a subject, wherein the compound is 2-(3-(3-(2,4-dimethoxypyrimidin-5-yl)phenyl)-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-6-yl)propan-2-ol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A method for treatment of facial pain and/or postoperative pain comprising administration of 2-(3-(3-(2,4-dimethoxypyrimidin-5-yl)phenyl)-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-6-yl)propan-2-ol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a subject in need thereof.
Use of 2-(3-(3-(2,4-dimethoxypyrimidin-5-yl)phenyl)-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-6-yl)propan-2-ol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of facial pain and/or postoperative pain.
