Abstract
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for treating overactive bladder. In some embodiments, the composition comprises an effective amount of micronized solabegron or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a derivative thereof. In some embodiments the micronized solabegron particles have a particle size of about 0.1 micron to 30 microns. In some embodiments, the administration of the pharmaceutical composition is twice daily.

A pharmaceutical composition consisting of about 100 mg to about 125 mg of micronized solabegron or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein at least 90% of the micronized solabegron has a particle size of about 0.1 micron to 30 microns and wherein the pharmaceutical composition is an immediate release composition.

A method of treating overactive bladder or one or more symptoms thereof, in a subject in need thereof, comprising orally administering to the subject a pharmaceutical composition consisting of a therapeutically effective amount of about 100 mg to about 125 mg of micronized solabegron or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein at least 90% of solabegron particles have a particle size of about 0.1 micron to 30 microns and wherein the pharmaceutical composition is an immediate release composition.
