Abstract
Cosmetic compositions for keratin fibers, kits-of-parts comprising the cosmetic compositions, and keratin fiber reshaping processes are disclosed herein. The cosmetic compositions have a pH in the range of 7 to 12 and comprise one or more organic alkalizing agent(s) and one or more particulate thickening agent(s), wherein the cosmetic compositions comprise less than 1% by weight of oxidizing agents, calculated to the total weights of the cosmetic compositions.
Claims27
A cosmetic composition for reshaping keratin fibers with heat having a pH in the range of 7 to 12, and comprising:
- a) one or more alkalizing agent(s) selected from
- ammonia and/or ammonium salt(s),
- organic amine(s) and/or salt(s) of organic amines according to the following general structure:
- wherein R1, R2, and R3 are independently selected from H, linear C1-C6 alkyl which may be substituted with one hydroxyl group, or branched C3-C12 alkyl or alkanol, wherein at least one of R1, R2, or R3 is different from H, and/or
- a mixture thereof;
- b) one or more particulate thickening agent(s),
- wherein the cosmetic composition comprises less than 1% by weight of oxidizing agents, calculated to a total weight of the cosmetic composition.
