Abstract
Techniques disclose herein relate to determining glucose reference sample times. The techniques may involve determining a first glucose reference sample measurement for a patient. The techniques may further involve determining timing information for obtaining a second glucose reference sample measurement based at least in part on readings from a continuous glucose sensor.

A method comprising:
- determining a first glucose reference sample measurement for a patient;
- and
- determining timing information for obtaining a second glucose reference sample measurement based at least in part on readings from a continuous glucose sensor.
A system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more processor-readable media storing instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause performance of:
- determining a first glucose reference sample measurement for a patient;
- and
- determining timing information for obtaining a second glucose reference sample measurement based at least in part on readings from a continuous glucose sensor.

- obtaining a first glucose reference sample measurement for a patient;

- determining timing information for obtaining a subsequent glucose reference sample measurement after the first glucose reference sample measurement to be used to calibrate a continuous glucose sensor based at least in part on a reliability of readings from the continuous glucose sensor.
