Abstract
Isolated peptides capable of reducing the amount of dexamethasone-induced spleen and/or thymus weight loss in a mouse are disclosed as well as uses thereof.
Claims12
An isolated peptide being no longer than ten amino acids which comprises an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NOs:
- 3, 4, 7, 18 or 20, wherein the peptide is capable of reducing the amount of dexamethasone-induced spleen and/or thymus weight loss in a mouse.
A method of treating a disease associated with apoptosis in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of isolated peptide being no longer than ten amino acids which comprises an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NOs:
- 3, 4, 7, 18, 20 or 21, wherein the peptide is capable of reducing the amount of dexamethasone-induced spleen and/or thymus weight loss in a mouse, thereby treating the disease associated with apoptosis.
