Antibodies to pmel17 and conjugates thereof

A method of producing a re-oxidized antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof that binds to human PMEL17 protein, the method comprising the steps of:

• (a) providing an antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof that binds to human PMEL17 protein comprising one or more cysteines modified by an adduct;
• (b) contacting the antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof of step (a) with a reducing agent, thereby producing a reduced antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof;
• and
• (c) incubating the reduced antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof under oxidation conditions,
• thereby producing the re-oxidized antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof that binds to human PMEL17 protein.

A method of producing a re-oxidized antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof, the method comprising the steps of:

• (a) providing an antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof comprising one or more cysteines modified by an adduct, wherein the antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof is bound to a resin;
• (b) contacting the antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof of step (a) with a reducing agent comprising reduced cysteines, thereby producing a reduced antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof;
• and
• (c) incubating the reduced antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof under oxidation conditions,
• thereby producing a re-oxidized antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof.
