Conditional egress ip for delivery of localized content

A localized content providing method in a cloud-based multi-tenant system for delivering local content to a plurality of users at a specific location, the localized content providing method comprising:

• receiving from a local application on a client device, a request for local data from a user of the plurality of users at a user location from a plurality of locations;
• identifying by a mid-link server, a set of locations from the plurality of locations without data centers, wherein the user has provided the request for the local data from the user location without a data center, and the user location is from the set of locations;
• categorizing a sub-data center for the user location from a plurality of data centers, wherein the sub-data center is assigned an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the user location, and the sub-data center is a data center nearest to the user location which is assigned the IP address for the user location;
• routing the request to the sub-data center, wherein each data center of the plurality of data centers have IP addresses for different locations to deliver the local content on the respective IP address for the location;
• and
• providing the user at the user location, the local data using the IP address of the sub-data center.

A localized content providing method in a cloud-based multi-tenant system for delivering local content to a plurality of users at a specific location, collectively having code for:

• receiving from a local application on a client device, a request for local data from a user of the plurality of users at a user location from a plurality of locations;
• identifying by a mid-link server, a set of locations from the plurality of locations without data centers, wherein the user has provided the request for the local data from the user location without a data center, and the user location is from the set of locations;
• categorizing a sub-data center for the user location from a plurality of data centers, wherein the sub-data center is assigned an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the user location, and the sub-data center is a data center nearest to the user location which is assigned the IP address for the user location;
• routing the request to the sub-data center, wherein each data center of the plurality of data centers have IP addresses for different locations to deliver the local content on the respective IP address for the location;
• and
• providing the user at the user location, the local data using the IP address of the sub-data center.
