Abstract
According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises: receiving a SRS configuration comprising a number of symbols (N) and a repetition factor (R) of an SRS resource; determining that N divided by R results in a fractional number of frequency hops (F); and transmitting SRS according to a modified SRS configuration.
Claims28
A method performed by a wireless device for transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS), the method comprising:
- receiving a SRS configuration comprising a number of symbols (N) and a repetition factor (R) of an SRS resource;
- determining that N divided by R results in a fractional number of frequency hops (F);
- and
- transmitting SRS according to a modified SRS configuration.
A wireless device capable of transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS), the wireless device comprising processing circuitry operable to:
- receive a SRS configuration comprising a number of symbols (N) and a repetition factor (R) of an SRS resource;
- determine that N divided by R results in a fractional number of frequency hops (F);
- and
- transmit SRS according to a modified SRS configuration.
A method performed by a network node for receiving a sounding reference signal (SRS), the method comprising:
- transmitting a SRS configuration comprising a number of symbols (N) and a repetition factor (R) of an SRS resource to a wireless device;
- determining that N divided by R results in a fractional number of frequency hops (F);
- and
- receiving SRS according to a modified SRS configuration from the wireless device.
