Abstract
There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network. The method includes performing a beam selection update, the beam selection update being based on received control signaling, the control signaling comprising a report indication indicating a measurement report transmitted by the wireless device, wherein the control signaling further comprises an element indication, the element indication indicating an entry of the indicated measurement report. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.

A method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- performing a beam selection update, the beam selection update being based on received control signaling, the control signaling comprising a report indication indicating a measurement report transmitted by the wireless device, the control signaling further comprising an element indication, the element indication indicating an entry of the indicated measurement report.
A wireless device for a wireless communication network, the wireless device configured to:
- perform a beam selection update, the beam selection update being based on received control signaling, the control signaling comprising a report indication indicating a measurement report transmitted by the wireless device, the control signaling further comprising an element indication, the element indication indicating an entry of the indicated measurement report.
A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- receiving a measurement report from a wireless device, the method further comprising transmitting control signaling to the wireless device, the control signaling comprising a report indication indicating a measurement report received from the wireless device, the control signaling further comprising an element indication, the element indication indicating an entry of the indicated measurement report, the control signaling triggering a beam selection update performed by the wireless device.
A network node for a wireless communication network, the network node configured to:
- receive a measurement report from a wireless device;
- and
- transmit control signaling to the wireless device, the control signaling comprising a report indication indicating a measurement report received from the wireless device, the control signaling further comprising an element indication, the element indication indicating an entry of the indicated measurement report, the control signaling adapted for triggering a beam selection update performed by the wireless device.
A computer storage medium storing a computer program comprising instructions causing processing circuitry to one or both control and perform a method, the method comprising:
- performing a beam selection update, the beam selection update being based on received control signaling, the control signaling comprising a report indication indicating a measurement report transmitted by the wireless device, the control signaling further comprising an element indication, the element indication indicating an entry of the indicated measurement report.
