Abstract
This disclosure relates to a communication method and apparatus. An access network device receives characteristic information of a downlink channel from a terminal device, and obtains information about a first codeword based on the characteristic information of the downlink channel and a first model. The first codeword is used for precoding.
Claims20
A communication method, comprising:
- receiving characteristic information of a downlink channel from a terminal device;
- and
- obtaining first codeword information based on the characteristic information of the downlink channel and a first model, wherein input of the first model comprises the characteristic information of the downlink channel, output of the first model comprises the first codeword information, and a first codeword corresponding to the first codeword information is used for precoding.
A communication method, comprising:
- receiving K sounding signals from an access network device, wherein K is a positive integer;
- obtaining first characteristic information based on information about the K sounding signals and a third model, wherein the first characteristic information is characteristic information of a downlink channel;
- and
- sending the first characteristic information to the access network device.

An apparatus, comprising at least one processor, configured to execute instructions to cause the apparatus to perform the following:
- receiving K sounding signals from an access network device, wherein K is a positive integer;
- obtaining first characteristic information based on information about the K sounding signals and a third model, wherein the first characteristic information is characteristic information of a downlink channel;
- and
- sending the first characteristic information to the access network device.
