A method for oral therapy of a cartilage disease of a human or animal patient, comprising administering to the patient a recombinant type II collagen.
A method for the therapeutic treatment or therapeutic prophylaxis of immune intolerance to type II collagen, in particular immune-modulated cartilage disease, or for obtaining cartilage health in a subject, comprising administering the subject a recombinant type II collagen, in particular a recombinant type II collagen peptide.
