Abstract

This application provides an IAB network includes a first BAP topology and a second BAP topology, the first BAP topology is managed by a first donor node, the second BAP topology is managed by a second donor node. In the IAB network, a first IAB node receives a first data packet, where the first IAB node is managed by the first donor node, at least one parent node of the first LAB node is managed by the second donor node, and the first IAB node belongs to the first BAP topology. The first IAB node processes the first data packet based on a BAP topology corresponding to an ingress link for receiving the first data packet.

Dependent claims

A routing method, wherein the routing method is applied to an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, the IAB network comprises a first backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) topology and a second BAP topology, the first BAP topology is managed by a first donor node, the second BAP topology is managed by a second donor node, and the method comprises:

receiving, by a first IAB node, a first data packet, wherein the first IAB node is managed by the first donor node, at least one parent node of the first IAB node is managed by the second donor node, and the first IAB node belongs to the first BAP topology;
and
processing, by the first IAB node, the first data packet based on a BAP topology corresponding to an ingress link for receiving the first data packet.

An apparatus in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, wherein the IAB network comprises a first backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) topology and a second BAP topology, the first BAP topology is managed by a first donor node, the second BAP topology is managed by a second donor node and the apparatus comprises at least one processor and at least one memory storing instructions;

wherein the instructions are executed by the processor to cause the apparatus perform operations of:
receiving a first data packet, wherein the apparatus is managed by the first donor node, at least one parent node of the apparatus is managed by the second donor node, and the apparatus belongs to the first BAP topology;
and
processing the first data packet based on a BAP topology corresponding to an ingress link for receiving the first data packet.

a first donor node, which is configured to manage a first backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) topology including a first IAB node;
a second donor node, which is configured to manage a second BAP topology including at least one parent node of the first node;

receiving, a first data packet;
and
processing the first data packet based on a BAP topology corresponding to an ingress link for receiving the first data packet.
