Abstract
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can acquire content items in a content sharing system from a time a user last accessed the content sharing system. The content items can be ranked based on relevance of the content items. An update including at least one content item selected from the content items for access by the user can be generated.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- providing, by a computing system, a first user interface element through which a content feed is presentable, the content feed comprising a notification selectable by a user to access an update;
- in response to selection of the notification, providing, by the computing system, a second user interface element through which the update is presentable, the update comprising:
- i) content items posted to a content sharing system after a prior access by the user of the content sharing system and ii) an element selectable by the user to return to the content feed;
- and
- in response to selection of the element, providing, by the computing system, the first interface element through which the content feed is presentable.
A system comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- providing a first user interface element through which a content feed is presentable, the content feed comprising a notification selectable by a user to access an update;
- in response to selection of the notification, providing a second user interface element through which the update is presentable, the update comprising:
- i) content items posted to a content sharing system after a prior access by the user of the content sharing system and ii) an element selectable by the user to return to the content feed;
- and
- in response to selection of the element, providing the first interface element through which the content feed is presentable.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform operations comprising:
- providing a first user interface element through which a content feed is presentable, the content feed comprising a notification selectable by a user to access an update;
- in response to selection of the notification, providing a second user interface element through which the update is presentable, the update comprising:
- i) content items posted to a content sharing system after a prior access by the user of the content sharing system and ii) an element selectable by the user to return to the content feed;
- and
- in response to selection of the element, providing the first interface element through which the content feed is presentable.
