A method f comprising:
- receiving a weather forecast for a geographic location that corresponds to a geographic location of a network that includes a plurality of CPE devices;
- accessing a plurality of network maintenance tasks associated with the plurality of CPE devices, wherein the plurality of network maintenance tasks are categorized into a plurality of categories, including a first category and a second category;
- and
- prioritizing a network maintenance task of the plurality of network maintenance tasks based on a set of one or more conditions, including the weather forecast and the category of the network maintenance task.
