System and method for auto-commissioning of network device

A system, comprising:

• a memory having non-transitory instructions stored;
• and
• processing circuitry coupled to the memory, and being configured to execute the non-transitory instructions, thereby causing the processing circuitry to:
• generate automatically, a device configuration file that includes parameters and initial settings for a network device;
• generate, automatically, a delta file that includes parameters and initial settings for a mobile backhaul (MBH) node communicatively connected to the network device;
• transmit the device configuration file to the network device;
• transmit the delta file to the terminating MBH node communicatively connected to the network device;
• obtain an IP address pool for the network device and connected network elements;
• and
• register the network device with one or more nodes.

A computer-readable medium including instructions executable by processing circuitry to cause the processing circuitry to perform operations comprising:

• generating, automatically, a device configuration file that includes parameters and initial settings for a network device;
• generating, automatically, a delta file that includes parameters and initial settings for a mobile backhaul (MBH) node communicatively connected to the network device;
• transmitting the device configuration file to the network device;
• transmitting the delta file to the MBH node communicatively connected to the network device;
• obtaining an IP address pool for the network device and connected network elements;
• and
• registering the network device with one or more nodes.
