Systems and methods for digital shelf display

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising machine-executable instructions, that, upon execution by one or more computer processors, implements a method for quantifying performance of an item in a digital shelf, the method comprising:

• (a) calculating a value associated with a shelf share of the item;
• (b) determining a set of factors for calculating a score indicative of the performance of the item on the digital shelf, wherein the set of factors includes the shelf share;
• (c) generating, using a first machine learning algorithm trained model, the score based on the set of factors;
• (d) generating, using a second machine learning algorithm trained model, a recommendation to improve sales performance;
• and
• (e) displaying the recommendation within a graphical user interface (GUI) on an electronic device.
