Vehicle feature control and battery charge managment during parked vehicle time periods

A method of managing a charge level of a battery system of a vehicle, the method comprising:

• obtaining a state of charge of the battery system, the battery system configured to provide power to a drive unit of the vehicle and multiple vehicle components each configured to implement a different operational feature of a vehicle;
• receiving a time period specified by user input, the time period indicative of a window of time where the vehicle will be in a parked state,
• disabling at least one of multiple vehicle components during the time period;
• determining an estimated remaining mileage value according to the state of charge of the battery system, a remaining time in the time period, and a predicted energy consumption of each of the multiple vehicle components that are not disabled during the time period, the estimated remaining mileage value indicative of a driving mileage capacity of the vehicle at an expiration of the time period;
• and
• transmitting the estimated remaining mileage value to a mobile device for display on a user interface of the mobile device.
