Abstract
The invention disclosed herein is a synergistic plant growth stimulant composition comprising Melatonin and Nitrogenous compounds for improving plant growth, enhancing yield and decreasing the biotic-abiotic stresses on plants. The invention also disclosed herein is a process for preparation of said synergistic composition.

A synergistic plant growth stimulant composition for improving plant growth, enhancing yield and decreasing biotic-abiotic stresses on plants comprising:
- a) Melatonin;
- b) Nitrogenous compounds selected from urea and derivatives thereof amino acids and derivatives thereof proteins, protein digest and amines, either alone or in any combination thereof;
- and
- c) adjuvants and/or surfactant and/or excipients;
- wherein the ratio of Melatonin and Nitrogenous compounds varies from 0.5:1, 1:1, 1:10 and 1:20.
