Abstract
An optical transmit device includes a conversion device configured to convert an electrical data signal into an optical signal, a control unit configured to change an adjustment value for peaking based on a baud rate of the optical signal, and a driver configured to change a band characteristic of the conversion device based on the adjustment value changed by the control unit.

An optical transmit device comprising:
- a conversion device configured to convert an electrical data signal into an optical signal;
- a control unit configured to change an adjustment value for peaking based on a baud rate of the optical signal;
- and
- a driver configured to change a band characteristic of the conversion device based on the adjustment value changed by the control unit.
