Abstract
A lock for an elevator door, the lock being a wireless magnetic field induction current controllable lock.
Claims9
An electric lock for an elevator door, said lock comprising wireless magnetic field induction current control, for unlocking said lock,
- thereby electric power supplied to said electric lock for unlocking thereof includes magnetic induction only.
An elevator, comprising:
- a lock comprised in each door for locking and unlocking the door, said lock comprising an electro-magnetic coil, for unlocking said lock upon energizing said electro-magnetic coil;
- and
- an electro-magnetic induction coil comprised in a car of said elevator, for energizing said electro-magnetic coil of each of said doors of said elevator upon facing thereof.
A method for unlocking a lock of an elevator door, the method comprising:
- providing electric power by wireless magnetic field induction, to said lock, by a car of said elevator, once said car is disposed near said elevator door.
