Abstract
An information indication method, including: receiving, by a terminal device, first indication information from a network device; and determining, by the terminal device according to the first indication information, whether to provide an earlier indication that the terminal device is a Reduced Capability (RedCap) terminal in first uplink information of a random access procedure.

A method for information indication, comprising:
- receiving, by a terminal device, first indication information from a network device;
- and
- determining, by the terminal device according to the first indication information, whether to provide an earlier indication that the terminal device is a Reduced Capability (RedCap) terminal in first uplink information of a random access procedure.
A method for information indication, comprising:
- transmitting, by a network device, first indication information to a terminal device,
- wherein the first indication information indicates that the terminal device determines whether to provide an earlier indication that the terminal device is a Reduced Capability (RedCap) terminal in first uplink information of a random access procedure.
A terminal device, comprising:
- a transceiver, configured to receive first indication information from a network device;
- and
- a processor, configured to determine to provide an earlier indication that the terminal device is a Reduced Capability (RedCap) terminal in first uplink information of a random access procedure according to the first indication information.
A network device, comprising:
- a transceiver, configured to transmit first indication information to a terminal device,
- wherein the first indication information indicates that the terminal device determines whether to provide an earlier indication that the terminal device is a Reduced Capability (RedCap) terminal in first uplink information of a random access procedure.
