Abstract
In some examples, systems and methods for formatting ink are provided. Ink stroke data may be received, letters may be identified from the ink stroke data, and spacing may be identified between the letters. A user command and semantic context may be received. An action may be determined based on the user command, the semantic context, and the spacing between the letters. Further, the action may be performed.
Claims20
A system for formatting ink comprising:
- at least one processor;
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the system to perform a set of operations, the set of operations comprising:
- receiving ink stroke data;
- identifying letters from the ink stroke data;
- identifying spacing between the letters;
- receiving a user command, and semantic context;
- determining an action based on the user command, the semantic context, and the spacing between the letters;
- and
- performing the action.

A system for formatting ink comprising:
- at least one processor;
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the system to perform a set of operations, the set of operations comprising:
- receiving ink stroke data;
- identifying paragraphs from the ink stroke data;
- identifying spacing between the paragraphs;
- receiving a user command and semantic context;
- determining an action based on the user command, the semantic context, and the spacing between the paragraphs;
- and
- performing the action.

A method for formatting ink, the method comprising:
- receiving ink stroke data, the ink stroke data being configured to be formatted on a document with one or more elements;
- receiving a user command and semantic context;
- identifying the one or more elements;
- identifying spacing between the ink stroke data and the one or more elements;
- determining an action based on the user command, the spacing, and the semantic context;
- and
- performing the action.
