Augmented reality image reproduction assistant

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
• detecting, by a computing device, in an output of a digital image sensor of a camera of the computing device, copies of a visual marker;
• calculating a plane and boundaries of a physical canvas represented in the output of the digital image sensor based on the detected copies of the visual marker;
• determining a position for a source image on a display of the computing device based on the calculated plane and boundaries;
• and
• causing displaying of the source image on the display at the determined position.

A machine-readable non-transitory storage medium having instruction data executable by a machine to cause the machine to perform operations comprising:

• detecting, by a computing device, in an output of a digital image sensor of a camera of the computing device, copies of a visual marker;
• calculating a plane and boundaries of a physical canvas represented in the output of the digital image sensor based on the detected copies of the visual marker;
• determining a position for a source image on a display of the computing device based on the calculated plane and boundaries;
• and
• causing displaying of the source image on the display at the determined position.
