Edge data processing utilizing per-endpoint subscriber configurable data processing workloads

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory processor-readable storage medium having stored therein program code of one or more software programs, wherein the program code when executed by at least one processing device causes the at least one processing device to perform steps of:

• obtaining, at a data center, source data generated by one or more edge devices associated with the data center;
• generating a per-endpoint data processing workflow for each of one or more endpoint subscribers of the source data generated by the one or more edge devices associated with the data center, a given per-endpoint data processing workflow associated with a given one of the one or more endpoint subscribers specifying one or more authorization parameters and one or more transformation parameters;
• selecting, based at least in part on the one or more authorization parameters in the given per-endpoint data processing workflow, at least a portion of the source data generated by the one or more edge devices associated with the data center that is to be provided to the given endpoint subscriber;
• applying, based at least in part on the one or more transformation parameters in the given per-endpoint data processing workflow, one or more data transformations to the portion of the source data generated by the one or more edge devices associated with the data center that is to be provided to the given endpoint subscriber to generate transformed data for the given endpoint subscriber;
• and
• providing, from the data center to the given endpoint subscriber, the transformed data.

A method comprising:

• obtaining, at a data center, source data generated by one or more edge devices associated with the data center;
• generating a per-endpoint data processing workflow for each of one or more endpoint subscribers of the source data generated by the one or more edge devices associated with the data center, a given per-endpoint data processing workflow associated with a given one of the one or more endpoint subscribers specifying one or more authorization parameters and one or more transformation parameters;
• selecting, based at least in part on the one or more authorization parameters in the given per-endpoint data processing workflow, at least a portion of the source data generated by the one or more edge devices associated with the data center that is to be provided to the given endpoint subscriber;
• applying, based at least in part on the one or more transformation parameters in the given per-endpoint data processing workflow, one or more data transformations to the portion of the source data generated by the one or more edge devices associated with the data center that is to be provided to the given endpoint subscriber to generate transformed data for the given endpoint subscriber;
• and
• providing, from the data center to the given endpoint subscriber, the transformed data;
• wherein the method is performed by at least one processing device comprising a processor coupled to a memory.
