Abstract
A system and a method for configuring one or more fire extinguishers within a compartment include a configuration control unit configured to determine one or more fluid flow paths within the compartment from a fluid dynamics model. The configuration control unit is further configured to determine a configuration for one or more nozzles of the one or more fire extinguishers based on the one or more fluid paths.

A system for configuring one or more fire extinguishers within a compartment, the system comprising:
- a configuration control unit configured to determine one or more fluid flow paths within the compartment from a fluid dynamics model,
- wherein the configuration control unit is further configured to determine a configuration for one or more nozzles of the one or more fire extinguishers based on the one or more fluid paths.
A method for configuring one or more fire extinguishers within a compartment, the method comprising:
- determining, by a configuration control unit, one or more fluid flow paths within the compartment from a fluid dynamics model;
- and
- determining, by the configuration control unit, a configuration for one or more nozzles of the one or more fire extinguishers based on the one or more fluid paths.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising executable instructions that, in response to execution, cause one or more control units comprising a processor, to perform operations comprising:
- determining one or more fluid flow paths within the compartment from a fluid dynamics model;
- and
- determining a configuration for one or more nozzles of the one or more fire extinguishers based on the one or more fluid paths.
