Abstract

A target application instance in a plurality of application instances is configured to process a target service whose required latency is lower than a target threshold. A forwarding device is configured to receive a plurality of service requests from a user plane function network element, and preferentially forward a target service request that belongs to the target service to the target application instance. The target application instance is configured to process the received target service request. When the target service is a latency sensitive service, a multi-access edge computing network preferentially forwards the target service, so that the target service may be preferentially served, thereby meeting a latency requirement for processing the latency sensitive service by user equipment.
