A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving, by a data processing system, digital teaching content and one or more content heuristics, and wherein the digital teaching content comprises a plurality of content items;
- monitoring, by the data processing system, user gaze of the digital teaching content in by a plurality of users, wherein the monitoring comprises:
- detecting one or more reflections of light from at least one eye;
- and
- cognitively skipping, by the data processing system, at least one of the plurality of content items of the digital teaching content based on the monitoring and the one or more content heuristics.
