Abstract
Gaming systems and methods that provide a wheel section selection feature including a displayed wheel including a plurality of displayed gaming system selectable sections for a play of a secondary game. In various embodiments, one or more shared sections of the wheel and/or a wheel section indicator associated with the wheel are enhanced for the play of the secondary game based on a wager level in a play of the primary game.
Claims20
A gaming system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- cause a display, by a display device, of a play of a primary game;
- responsive to a secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to a secondary game enhancement condition not being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of a wheel comprising a plurality of sections and a shared section for a play of the secondary game, wherein the shared section overlaps two of the sections and wherein the shared section is of a first size;
- responsive to the secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to the secondary game enhancement condition being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel comprising the plurality of sections and the shared section for the play of the secondary game, wherein the shared section overlaps two of the sections and the shared section is of a second size that is larger than the first size;
- and
- for the play of the secondary game:
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel spinning,
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel stopped, and
- cause a display, by the display device, of a wheel section indicator indicating one of the sections of the wheel or the shared section.

A gaming system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- cause a display, by a display device, of a play of a primary game;
- responsive to a secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to different first and second secondary game enhancement conditions not being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of a wheel comprising a plurality of sections and a plurality of shared sections for a play of the secondary game, wherein each of shared sections overlaps a different pair of the plurality of sections and each of the shared sections is of a first size;
- responsive to the secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to the first secondary game enhancement condition being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel comprising the plurality of sections and the plurality of shared sections for the play of the secondary game, wherein each of the shared sections overlaps the different pair of the plurality of the sections and each of the shared sections is of a second size that is larger than the first size;
- responsive to the secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to the second secondary game enhancement condition being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel comprising the plurality of sections and the plurality of shared sections for the play of the secondary game, wherein each of the shared section overlaps the different pair of the plurality of the sections and each of the shared sections is of a third size that is larger than the second size;
- and
- for the play of the secondary game:
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel spinning,
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel stopped, and
- cause a display, by the display device, of a wheel section indicator indicating one of the sections or one of the shared sections.

- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- cause a display, by a display device, of a play of a primary game;
- responsive to a secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to a secondary game enhancement condition not being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of a wheel section indicator and a wheel comprising a plurality of sections for a play of the secondary game, wherein the wheel section indicator is of a first size configured to indicate a first quantity of sections of the wheel;
- responsive to the secondary game triggering event occurring in association with the play of the primary game and responsive to the secondary game enhancement condition being satisfied for the play of the primary game, cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel section indicator and the wheel comprising the plurality of sections for the play of the secondary game, wherein the wheel section indicator is of a second size that is larger than the first size and wherein the wheel section indicator is configured to indicate one of a second quantity of sections quantity of sections of the wheel and a third quantity of sections of the wheel;
- for the play of the secondary game:
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel spinning,
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel stopped, and
- cause a display, by the display device, of the wheel section indicator indicating one of the first, second, and third quantities of sections of the wheel.
