Well planning and drilling service

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• memory operatively coupled to the one or more processors;
• processor-executable instructions stored in the memory and executable by at least one of the processors to instruct the system to
• receive constraints that are specified as points in a three-dimensional coordinate system that represent a geological environment that includes a surface position and a subterranean portion of a wellsite;
• receive data collected from at least one offset well that is located near the wellsite that pertain to a geology and at least one condition related to drilling of the at least one offset well and determining a set of points through which a wellbore is extendable at the wellsite;
• generate at least one well plan that is based on the constraints and the set of points for constructing a well associated with the wellbore;
• and
• transmit the at least one well plan to a drilling system to execute the at least one well plan to control drilling equipment to construct the well.

One or more computer-readable storage media comprising computer-executable instructions executable to instruct a computing system to:

• receive constraints that are specified as points in a three-dimensional coordinate system that represent a geological environment that includes a surface position and a subterranean portion of a wellsite;
• receive data collected from at least one offset well that is located near the wellsite that pertain to a geology and at least one condition related to drilling of the at least one offset well and determining a set of points through which a wellbore is extendable at the wellsite;
• generate at least one well plan that is based on the constraints and the set of points for constructing a well associated with the wellbore;
• and
• transmit the at least one well plan to a drilling system to execute the at least one well plan to control drilling equipment to construct the well.
