Instant wallet credit card

A system comprising:

• a database structured to store customer information regarding a plurality of customers of a financial institution;
• a network interface configured to communicate data to and from a plurality of mobile devices associated with the plurality of customers;
• and
• a circuit, the circuit being communicatively coupled to the database and the network interface, the circuit structured to:
• retrieve information pertaining to an existing account of a user;
• project a profitability of the financial institution from the user based on a projected number of transactions of the user, wherein the projected number of transactions is determined based on a transaction history of the user;
• based on the retrieved information and the projected profitability being above a predefined threshold, underwrite, the user for a credit card offer;
• select a set of credit card offer terms for the credit card offer based on the underwriting;
• create a credit card account for the user, the credit card account having an account number associated therewith;
• and
• activate the credit card account in response to a first use of a mobile wallet after a provisioning of a credit card to a mobile wallet.

A non-transitory computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied therein that, when executed by one or more processors, cause operations comprising:

• retrieving information pertaining to an existing account of a user;
• projecting a profitability of a financial institution from the user based on a projected number of transactions of the user, wherein the projected number of transactions is determined based on a transaction history of the user;
• based on the retrieved information and the projected profitability being above a predefined threshold, underwriting, the user for a credit card offer;
• selecting a set of credit card offer terms for the credit card offer based on the underwriting;
• creating a credit card account for the user, the credit card account having an account number associated therewith;
• and
• activating the credit card account in response to a first use of a mobile wallet after a provisioning of a credit card to the mobile wallet.
