Method and electronic device for providing text-related image

An electronic device comprising:

• a user input interface configured to input a text;
• a memory configured to store a computer-executable instruction;
• a display;
• a communicator configured to connected an external device via a network;
• and
• at least one processor coupled to the memory,
• wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
• receive, via the user input interface, a first text entered using an application provided by the device,
• in response to receiving the first text, transmit the first text and a request for at least one image related to the first text to an external device connected with the device via a communicator included in the device,
• after transmitting the first text and the request to the external device, receive information of the at least one image related to the first text from the external device, and
• control the display to display the at least one image based on the received information of the at least one image.
