Abstract

Among other techniques, techniques for dynamic survivorship, cross-tenant matching, and lineage entity identifier (EID) promotion are described. A system utilizing these techniques can include an EID assignment engine configured to generate an EID for an entity, a session ID generation engine configured to generate a session ID for an augur session, an augur engine configured to receive the EID and the session ID and generate a first list of matched augur IDs and a second list of potential match augur IDs, and a hash generation engine configured to generate a one-way hash of the matched augur IDs and the potential match augur IDs using the session ID. A method utilizing these techniques can include generating an EID for an entity; generating a session ID for an augur session; receiving the EID and the session ID at an augur engine; generating a first list of matched augur IDs and a second list of potential match augur IDs at the augur engine; and generating a one-way hash of the matched augur IDs and the potential match augur IDs using the session ID.
