An apparatus includes a folded optical path including optically reflective surfaces at least one of which includes an optical metasurface.

An apparatus comprising:
- a folded optical path including a plurality of optically reflective surfaces at least one of which includes an optical metasurface.
The apparatus of further comprising an optical sensor, wherein the first reflective surface is configured to direct light of the first diffractive order toward the sensor, and the second reflective surface is configured to direct light of the second diffractive order toward the sensor.
