Abstract
A household cooking appliance includes a cooking compartment for receiving food to be cooked, a cooking compartment divider received in the cooking compartment for dividing the cooking compartment into different cooking compartment sections and designed for removal from the cooking compartment, and an identifying facility configured to identify the cooking compartment divider in the cooking compartment and to adapt an operating state of the household cooking appliance to the cooking compartment divider in response to an identification of the cooking compartment divider.

- a cooking compartment for receiving food to be cooked;
- a cooking compartment divider received in the cooking compartment for dividing the cooking compartment into different cooking compartment sections and designed for removal from the cooking compartment;

- an identifying facility configured to identify the cooking compartment divider in the cooking compartment and to adapt an operating state of the household cooking appliance to the cooking compartment divider in response to an identification of the cooking compartment divider.
