Abstract
A method for alerting a driver of an automobile vehicle. The method includes: obtaining an area not being monitored by the driver and activating sensors of the vehicle relating to the unmonitored area; analyzing data captured by the sensors relating to the unmonitored area in order to detect an event to come; and rendering or not to the driver information representative of an alert depending on the result of the analysis.
Claims9
A method for alerting a driver of an automobile vehicle, the method being implemented by a device and comprising:
- obtaining an area not monitored by the driver and activating sensors of the vehicle relating to the unmonitored area;
- analyzing data captured by the sensors relating to the unmonitored area in order to detect a given event;
- and
- rendering information representative of an alert in response to an event being detected during the analyzing.
A device for managing an alert to a driver of an automobile vehicle, wherein the device comprises:
- a processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions stored thereon which when executed by the processor configure the device to:
- obtain an area not monitored by the driver and activate sensors of the vehicle relating to the unmonitored area;
- analyze data captured by the sensors relating to the unmonitored area in order to detect a given event;
- and
- render information representative of an alert in response to the event being detected.
A non-transitory computer readable data medium on which a computer program is recorded, comprising a sequence of instructions for implementing an alerting method when the instructions are loaded into and executed by a processor of a device, wherein the alerting method comprises:
- obtaining an area not monitored by a driver of an automobile vehicle;
- activating sensors of the vehicle relating to the unmonitored area;
- analyzing data captured by the sensors relating to the unmonitored area in order to detect a given event;
- and
- rendering information representative of an alert in response to the event being detected.
