A classification device includes: a sorting mechanism that sorts a group of powder particles using an airflow; a dust collector that generates the airflow; a measuring instrument that measures a measurement value related to a speed of the airflow; and a control device that performs wind speed control that controls the speed of the airflow so that the measurement value is maintained within a control range.

A classification device comprising:
- a sorting mechanism configured to sort a group of powder particles using an airflow;
- a dust collector configured to generate the airflow;
- a measuring instrument configured to measure a measurement value related to a speed of the airflow;

- a control device configured to perform wind speed control that controls the speed of the airflow so that the measurement value is maintained within a control range.
