Exercise equipment clamp and handles

A clamp for exercise equipment, comprising:

• a first portion having a first body cavity and a first neck cavity;
• a second portion having a second body cavity and a second neck cavity;
• a hinge rotatably coupling the first portion and the second portion;
• wherein the first portion and the second portion are rotatable between an open configuration and a closed configuration;
• wherein in the open configuration:
• the first body cavity and the second body cavity are configured to enable a portion of exercise equipment to be received by and removed from the first body cavity or the second body cavity;
• and
• the first neck cavity and the second neck cavity are configured to enable a part of an external handle to be received by and removed from the first neck cavity or the second neck cavity;
• wherein in the closed configuration:
• the first body cavity and the second body cavity together form a body cavity in which the portion of exercise equipment is secured;
• and
• the first neck cavity and the second neck cavity together form a neck cavity in which the part of the external handle is secured;
• a threaded fastener configured to secure the first portion and the second portion in the closed configuration such that the part of the external handle is secured in the neck cavity solely by engagement with the first and second portions.

A method for clamping exercise equipment, the method comprising:

• receiving a portion of exercise equipment in a body cavity part of at least one of a first portion of a clamp and a second portion of the clamp;
• receiving a part of an external handle in a neck cavity part of at least one of the first portion and the second portion;
• rotating the first portion and the second portion relative to each other to a closed configuration such that the first portion and the second portion together form a body cavity in which the portion of exercise equipment is secured and a neck cavity in which the part of the external handle is secured;
• and
• fastening the first portion and the second portion together to secure the first portion and the second portion in the closed configuration such that the portion of exercise equipment is secured in the body cavity and the external handle is secured by the neck cavity.

A clamp for exercise equipment, comprising:

• a first portion having a first body cavity and a first neck cavity;
• a second portion having a second body cavity and a second neck cavity;
• a hinge rotatably coupling the first portion and the second portion;
• wherein the first portion and the second portion are rotatable between an open configuration and a closed configuration;
• wherein in the open configuration:
• the first body cavity and the second body cavity are configured to enable a portion of exercise equipment to be received by and removed from the first body cavity or the second body cavity;
• and
• the first neck cavity and the second neck cavity are configured to enable a part of an external handle to be received by and removed from the first neck cavity or the second neck cavity;
• wherein in the closed configuration:
• the first body cavity and the second body cavity together form a body cavity in which the portion of exercise equipment is secured between the first and second portions;
• and
• the first neck cavity and the second neck cavity together form a neck cavity in which the part of the external handle is secured between the first and second portions;
• a fastener configured to secure the first portion and the second portion in the closed configuration such that the portion of exercise equipment and the external handle are simultaneously secured to the first and second portions.
