A method for providing information for diagnosing bone-related disease, comprising a step of measuring the expression level of the Pellino-1 protein (protein pellino homolog 1) or the gene encoding the protein in the biological sample isolated from a subject of interest.
A method for treating bone-related disease, comprising a step of administering an effective amount of a composition to a subject in need thereof, wherein the composition comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of the Pellino-1 protein (protein pellino homolog 1);
- the gene encoding the Pellino-1 protein;
- and the expression vector containing the gene encoding the Pellino-1 protein.
A method for treating bone-related disease, comprising a step of administering an effective amount of an agent to a subject in need thereof, wherein the agent is for reducing the expression level of the Pellino-1 protein (protein pellino homolog 1) or the gene encoding the protein.
