Novel nano-formulation of cannabidiol (cbd) and other cannabinoids for treatment of ocular disorders

A method of treating an ocular disease or disorder comprising administering an effective amount of a formulation comprising a lipid-based nanoparticle to a subject in need therein, wherein the lipid-based nanoparticle comprises (i) cannabidiol and (ii) at least one fractionated oil, wherein the fractionated oil comprises at least one short-chain fatty acids having between 6 and 8 carbon items and does not contain any fatty acids having greater than 8 carbon atoms.
