Abstract
Provided are cleansing compositions comprising: (a) cocamidopropyl betaine, wherein the cocamidopropyl betaine has an average molecular weight of at least about 355 g/mol; (b) from greater than about 0 wt.-% to about 1 wt.-% of a fatty acid; and (c) water. Also provided are methods of using the same.

A cleansing composition comprising:
- a. cocamidopropyl betaine, wherein the cocamidopropyl betaine has an average molecular weight of at least about 355 g/mol;
- b. from greater than about 0 wt.-% to about 1 wt.-% of a fatty acid;
- and
- c. water.

The cleansing composition of claim, wherein the composition is essentially free of sodium lauryl ether sulfate.
A cleansing composition comprising:
- a. from about 1 wt.-% to about 5 wt.-% cocamidopropyl betaine, wherein the cocamidopropyl betaine has an average molecular weight of about 355 g/mol to about 357 g/mol;
- b. from about 0.05 wt.-% to about 1 wt.-% of a fatty acid;
- and
- c. water.
