Power monitoring of devices

A method performed by a master control device, comprising:

• receiving, from a device, power usage data of the device, wherein the power usage data are collected by a power monitor circuit of the device based on a function performed by a functional circuit of the device;
• generating, by the master control device, based on the received power usage data, an instruction, wherein the instruction is related to the function performed by the functional circuit of the device;
• and
• transmitting, by the master control device, to the device, the instruction to adjust the function performed by the functional circuit of the device.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by at least a computing device, cause the computing device to perform operations comprising:

• receiving, from a device, power usage data of the device, wherein the power usage data are collected by a power monitor of the device based on a function performed by a functional circuit of the device;
• generating, based on the received power usage data, an instruction, wherein the instruction is related to the function performed by the functional circuit of the device;
• and
• transmitting, to the device, the instruction to adjust the function performed by the functional circuit of the device.
