Abstract
A dishwasher appliance includes a cabinet defining a wash chamber, a sensor disposed in the wash chamber, and a controller in signal communication with the sensor. The controller is configured to adjust to one of a plurality of transfer functions in response to an output of the sensor. Each of the plurality of transfer functions is associated with a respective one of a plurality of sensor types.

A dishwasher appliance, comprising:
- a cabinet defining a wash chamber;
- a sensor disposed in the wash chamber;
- a controller in signal communication with the sensor, the controller configured to,
- receive an output of a sensor, and
- select one of a plurality of transfer functions for the sensor in response to the output of the sensor,
- wherein each of the plurality of transfer functions is associated with a respective one of a plurality of sensor types.
