Suction box for a gripper

A gripper, wherein the gripper includes:

• a suction box, the suction box including:
• a first part made of composite material,
• a second part made of composite material, the second part including orifices, and
• a third part connected, on the one hand, to the first part and, on the other hand, to the second part to form at least one cavity of the suction box,
• wherein
• the third part is made of composite material,
• the first part and the third part are connected to each other by bonding,
• the second part and the third part are connected to each other by bonding, and
• at least one member intended to come into contact with at least one object to be grasped, said at least one member being fastened on the second part.

A method for manufacturing a suction box for a gripper, the manufacturing method including the following steps:

• a step of forming a first part made of composite material,
• a step of forming a second part made of composite material, the second part including orifices,
• a step of forming a third part,
• a step of assembling the first, second and third parts resulting in the formation of at least one cavity of the suction box,
• wherein:
• the third part is made of composite material,
• the assembly step includes a step of fastening the first part to the third part by bonding,
• the assembly step includes a step of fastening the second part to the third part by bonding.
