Method and arrangements for multi-channel control

A method comprising:

• determining, by a controller, a first event from a set of events, the first event associated with a first trigger and a first action, the first action to transition an intensity level of a load;
• determining, by the controller, to perform the first action associated with the first event in response to occurrence of the first trigger, wherein the first trigger comprises user input via a user input device of a switch coupled with the load;
• generating, by the controller, a first control signal based on the user input, the first control signal to set the intensity level;
• and
• generating, by the controller, a second control signal based on a relationship between the first control signal and the second control signal, the second control signal to set a color temperature.

A controller, comprising:

• a user interface to receive input signals from a user input device;
• a memory to store instructions, the instructions including a relationship between an intensity level and a color temperature;
• a microcontroller in communication with the user interface, the microcontroller configured to execute the instructions to generate:
• a first pulse-width modulation control signal to set the intensity level of a luminaire;
• and
• a second pulse-width modulation control signal to set the color temperature of the luminaire;
• wherein the first and second pulse-width modulation control signals are based on the relationship.
