Abstract
An optical distribution and splice frame system includes rack(s), enclosure(s), cable management component(s), and/or cassette(s) that have features to allow for different cable management configurations not yet available in the market. A fiber optic cassette and enclosure are designed to enable flexibility in cable management configurations for the overall system.
Claims16
A cable management enclosure comprising:
- an enclosure body configured to be installed onto a rack, the enclosure body having a 1 RU width;
- and
- a tray including a tray floor, the tray having a width that is approximately ¾ RU width, wherein the tray is configured to:
- slide along an axis within the cable management enclosure;
- and
- install at least a first cassette within the approximately ¾ RU width of the tray.
