An interleukin 29 (IL29) mutant protein, comprising a substitution mutation at amino acid position 161 or 162 of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 1, wherein the aspartic acid (D) at position 161 or the glycine (G) at position 162 is substituted with another natural amino acid.
