A replication tool for use in preparing a holographic film by replication, comprising:
- a base structure having:
- a structure body;
- and
- a channel configured to receive at least one of a laminated glazing and a master holographic film assembly.

A method of preparing a laminated glazing, comprising:
- preparing a laminated glazing with a photopolymer film formed therein and a base structure on the laminated glazing;
- aligning a master holographic film assembly with the laminated glazing wherein the master holographic film assembly contacts the base structure;
- and
- treating the photopolymer film with a reactive light through the master holographic film assembly.

- preparing a laminated glazing with a photopolymer film formed therein;
- attaching a base structure to a master holographic film assembly;
- aligning the master holographic film assembly with the laminated glazing;
- and
