Electronic device and method of controlling electronic device

A method of controlling an electronic device, the method comprising:

• establishing communication between the electronic device and a wearable device;
• identifying a change from a first state in which the communication between the electronic device and the wearable device is established to a second state in which the communication between the electronic device and the wearable device is released;
• based on the identifying of the change from the first state to the second state, changing from a first notification mode of the electronic device to a second notification mode of the electronic device different from the first notification mode;
• and
• changing a first icon indicating the first notification mode displayed on a display of the electronic device into a second icon indicating the second notification mode.

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a plurality of instructions which, when executed by at least one processor of an electronic device, instruct the electronic device to:

• establish communication between the electronic device and a wearable device;
• identify a change from a first state in which the communication between the electronic device and the wearable device is established to a second state in which the communication between the electronic device and the wearable device is released;
• based on the identifying of the change from the first state to the second state, change from a first notification mode of the electronic device to a second notification mode of the electronic device different from the first notification mode;
• and
• change a first icon indicating the first notification mode displayed on a display of the electronic device into a second icon indicating the second notification mode.
