Pedal adjustment system and seat adjustment system, and apparatus using same

A system for adjusting a control pedal distance and a control pedal orientation relative to a user of a driving-related assembly, the system comprising:

• a moveable pedal plate having at least one pedal assembly attachment region and at least one distal attachment point located near a distal end region thereof, and at least one proximal pivotable attachment point located near a proximal end region thereof, each of said distal attachment point and proximal pivotable attachment point having respective distal coupling means and proximal pivotable coupling means;
• a connecting member having a pivotable coupling means located near respective first and second ends, wherein said pivotable coupling means located near said first end is matable with said proximal pivotable coupling means to form a first articulable junction and said second end is matable with a connecting member anchor to form a second articulable junction;
• and
• at least one substantially upright fixation member having a plurality of predetermined coupling points, each for user-selectively mating with said distal coupling means for a third junction.
